How many TVs do you have in your house?
two. we had just one before.
but then got a plasma for above ou
fireplace after the remodel.
so the old one is sititng on the floor
of the guest bedroom.
someday i'll hire someone to build
the built-in entertainment system
we need. but it's 6 - 7k i'd rather not
spend at the moment.

going to hell in a handbasket.
is that even the right phrase?

i used to not understand the :
don't look a gift horse in the mouth
then someone explained that looking
in the horse's mouth is to see how good/healthy
the horse is? and it's rude to do so if the
horse is a gift.
In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
wow. the house would have ocean views,
but i don't think my dream room would
have that. i could describe a living
room area or a bedroom, but i'll describe
my writing room and studio.
because that is what i don't have.
it would have a cozy loveseat, probably
a pale color, very deep and cushiony and
soft. i would have a beautiful writing desk,
perhaps an antique one, with a very comfortabel
writing chair.
the room would also have a large
painting table for my brushpainting.
it would be painted in a pale
green. lots of light through big windows
and a double french door looking into a
english garden. flowers blooming
all year round and lots of color to
inspire me.
there would be art on the walls
and shelves filled with art books, writing
books, novels and writing references.
this would be my dream room.
If you could write like one fiction author, who would it be?
Submitted by Marilyn.
wow, that's a really tough one.

but i haven't read her since i started writing
my fantasy novel.
within the genre, i admire le guin's quiet
understated style. definitely ursula le guin.
If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?
Submitted by J.T.
telekinesis.
sometimes i think i do have
this power, and try to get the
remote to float to me. or shut
the door with a flick of a hand.
am always sort of disappointed
when it doesn't work.
because deep down, i know i'm
destined to be a HERO.
Who or what do you really love?
i will go with what.
i love quiet time.
i love bursts of creativity and
bright moments of inspiration.
i love when my art and writing
surprise me--when i am proud
of my own creations.
i love when i am so immersed,
i look up and a few hours have
gone by.
i love the feeling of
wow, did *i* do that?
